Place: Moose Jaw, SK, Canada

It’s been a while since I visited the land of a billion grasshoppers and F150s and glistening fields of golden canola with wispy clouds in the infinite blue sky and you can’t tell where any of it ends but at least you know there is a giant moose on the side of the highway where you can buy a cup of sunflower seeds to feed the prairie dogs skittering around his artificial hooves and as you drive away, you think of how nice it was to visit the place of your birth and play games with the people who share your last name and say hello and goodbye to the man and woman who started it all.
