Digging In with UFA features conversations that dig deeper with industry experts, farmers, ranchers and other AGvocates (I love a portmanteau!) on critical issues facing the agriculture industry. Hosted by Don Shafer, the podcast is produced by Everything Podcasts for UFA – an Alberta-based agricultural co-operative with more than 125,000 member-owners and more than 121 bulk fuel and cardlock petroleum locations and 25 farm & ranch supply stores.

I joined the production team as the Showrunner for Season 2 of Digging In with UFA, which includes 9 episodes on topics like Women in Agriculture, The Truth About Beef (featuring my favourite guest I’ve booked as a showrunner to date… a gentleman named Quick Dick McDick), AI Data Centres and Agriculture, and Trade Wars.

Coordinating the production of an agriculture podcast has been an eye-opening experience for me as a self-proclaimed city girl whose grandparents had farms on the Canadian prairies. I have learned what farm to table really means and I certainly have a new respect for the folks who grow the food on our plates.
